Rich has been fishing South Florida and the Florida Keys
since childhood. Born and Raised in Miami, Fl. Rich has
compiled a wealth of knowledge of the vast marine life and
Old Florida History. His passion began at an early age fishing
with his father from just about any location imaginable.
Bridges, canals, boats, and beaches, no matter the location
or what they caught it was always about the time and
experience together that made each trip an unforgettable
Angling Adventure.

By the time Rich became a teenager he was prowling the
shallow flats of Biscayne Bay and Islamorada with a pair of
binoculars learning the techniques of mentors like “Rick
Murphy, Stu Apte, Flip Pallot, and Ol’ Bill Curtis.” If he
noticed one of them throwing a live crab at 7:30 in a certain
spot you could bet Rich would be there the next day doing
the exact same thing.

Today you can find Rich poling his customers over 200 days
a year to the next prized game fish. Across the endless flats,
with each push and each cast a new Adventure is born.

Spreading the passion and respect for the outdoors has
never been more important than it is today. This is why Rich
devotes much of his time to children’s organizations and
marine conservation programs.

Rich is a member of the following organizations:

The Youth Fishing Foundation
works together with
different organizations like the IGFA and Sport Fishing
Magazine’s Fish Stock to provide fishing clinics and learning
seminars. Over the past few years the Youth Fishing
Foundation has given away over 5,000 rods and reels to
inner-city and underprivileged children.

The IGFA or The International Game Fish Association
which holds all the record keeping of the fishing world as
well as educates the public on the history of fishing.  They
also hold numerous children's clinics throughout the year.

The FGA or The Florida Guides Association which
promotes better fishing through conservation.

The CCA or The Coastal Conservation Association which is
a nonprofit marine conservation organtization working to
protect marine resources and the interests of saltwater
anglers.
