 Fly Fishing Charters

Fly Fishing in South Florida is like fishing in a "Big Kids Playground."  This is because one day you can target Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, and Trout in the backcountry waters of the Florida Everglades.  And the next you can target Bonefish, Permit, and Tarpon in Miami or the Florida Keys.  This diverse ecosystem is what makes South Florida such an awesome fly fishing destination.

Fly Fishing Charters in South Florida generally start at 7:00 AM and run 4, 6, and 8 hours in duration.  The majority of fly fishing guides prefer to fish from a skiff 99% of the time because of mobility.  These flats are also softer than flats located in the Bahamas which doesn't make wade fishing a common style of fishing here in Florida.  The only time we ever really have a need to get out of the boat is when there are very calm conditions and you are fishing for Permit in the Lower Florida Keys near Key West.  So fly fisherman can expect their home to be on the bow of a typical flats style skiff during the majority of fly fishing trips.
